Love like this!! It makes me so happy to see people showing off their look, telling stories of the mockup, the waiting, the excitement, the fittings. It's a whole story, and I feel so good knowing I've helped someone feel confident and affirmed on their wedding. So much love for you, Sarah!

Back to posting because no amount of bad news will keep me from sharing the amazing people I get to design and sew for!
Matching grey vests and capes are a vibe I will always say yes to!!! Cal's skirt has 3D butterflies, and you can really see the butterflies because they wanted a taupey satin undneath, and I'm such a fan!!! I got the lace from , and it's as amazing as you think. 🤩
The chiffon shirt really added an airy quality to the look, but with that crisp collar, you get a masc-ness that plays so well with the grey vest.
Jake had these amazing eggplanty trousers, and they are so perfect with the grey vest I made! Thank you both for the opportunity to make these looks for you two! Love you both!!
I've got more photos to share, but they were vertical, so I'll share them in another post. I was about to say that there was one in particular you'll love, but then I kept thinking of more photos.
Mad shout out to .robertsphotos on the amazing, super engaging photos!!! I hope my words convey the fact that my jaw is still on the ground. Maybe it's because he does amazing cosplay photography, and I used to cosplay, but seriously!

I haven't shared enough of these two! Crystal in a grey 3-piece suit (and shirt) and Andrea in a 4-ply silk crepe jumpsuit. This fabric is so yummy to wear and it elevates anything it's made into. This is why I talk so much about picking clothes shapes you like (say, like overalls) and I'll take care of the "make it look like I'm actually going to my own wedding" element.

Happy Non-Binary Awareness Week!
As you look thru these images, imagine the inspiration dancing around in my head:
1. jellyfish
2. 18th century menswear

You know I had fun with this, always making sure that each look reflected their interests and preferences, and coordinated in the ways that mattered to them. It did take my head a while to figure out how the jellyfish cape was going to come to life, and I'm pretty sure it was idea to do the horsehair braid and it was inspired! Thanks always for that, Gigi! Edy is also a maker and sews, so they helped me understand different elements they both wanted thru sketches we were passing in class hehe. Once Edy got everything home, they added some more items to the cape epaulettes and I think it added the perfect touch!!

Happy Non-Binary Awareness Week! Today I bring you Aden, the first to bring me the idea of wedding overalls. They weren't sure it was possible, and I think that kind of out of the box thinking, don't do what you're told, march to the beat of your own drum, and fight the patriarchy along the way, thinking that draws me to my clients.
