Simpson College has collaborated with several community groups to plan a celebration of the first George Washington Carver Day on February 1, as proclaimed by Governor Reynolds. Included in the celebration activities will be period actors in 4 of our shops bringing to life our Square in the late 1800s. The list of activities is detailed in the link and will end at West Hill Brewery with the unveiling of "Peanut Genius" porter, a social gathering from 4-6pm and toast to Carver at 5:30. Please join us in learning about Simpson's most famous student and citizen of Indianola.

Simpson College serves the diverse communities of the Midwest and the nation by providing academic and co-curricular programs designed to educate students of all ages and backgrounds.

Congratulations to Rotary Club of Indianola for supporting the Indianola Community for the past 100 years. Congratulations to Earl Butler and Doug Bylund for your community service. Both received an honorary Paul Harris Fellowship Award at the Club's Centennial Open House on September 22nd.

Simply choose the type of event, Half-Day or Full-Day, then click on the calendar date to see if that date is available during hours you wish to use the event center.

W Salem Avenue was a great place to spend the evening visiting with friends, watching balloons and dancing to Trainwreck last Thursday, July 21st. All had fun on such a beautiful night.

Salem Connection awarded one ticket each to Richard Drey and Brenda Dyer for the 2022 National Balloon Classic. Tickets were courtesy of the National Balloon Classic.

Salem Connection also awarded a One-Half day rental at Salem Connection to Brianna Vaughn.
