I met my Brian by chance at work where we were moved into the same classroom & I caught myself daydreaming about him on a daily basis. I didn’t think a man would be interested in a single mother with 3 young children. After weeks of day dreaming we finally exchanged numbers and the rest was history. I explained to Brian that I have three children Noah at the time was 4 and I had twin daughters, Sydney and Kaelyn who were 2. I also explained that I was a survivor of domestic violence and I’m knee deep in my healing journey and what that could possibly look like. My abuser was very mentally, physically and verbally abusive and I had the scars to show for it. My left hand was biggest war wound. My abuser stabbed me and there was a noticeable scar on my wedding hand that reminded me of everything I had been through. Brian told me all of that didn’t matter and he wanted to continue to get to know me. Brian and I were inseparable and the energy we had was unmatched. After months of dating in private, Brian met the kids and the rest is history. The kids thought he was the best and I couldn’t agree more. We got married March 2018. Following the wedding in January 2019, Brian legally adopted the kids and since then we have been living a fairytale. Recently, I found a local tattoo artist to do a special tattoo on the hand that reminded me of so much hurt and trauma. She was able to tattoo Brian’s handwriting under the scar on my hand. I love you baby….. something I thought I would never find. Real genuine love from the most amazing man. The picture of my hand right after my tattoo was done is my favorite. It shows the worst pain can turn into something beautiful. If I never experienced what love wasn’t, I wouldn’t know what love is! Tiffany D. #parkwaybanquets #lovestory
