What I do....
Because the individuals have passed on I can now post...
5 or 6 years ago...I had an elderly couple I delivered to at least once a month...
They had left up North and left their children a chain....a hardware store...that did very well...
Their children had no idea of their situation here...Both were elderly and the Mrs was in bad health...Her medication was over $900.00 a month,not to mention they had to pay electric etc
Their kids would send flowers once a month at least...Usually spending $75-$100 each time
I'd do the Mrs a $20-25.00 arrangement to brighten her day and take the rest to them in cash....
I'd call before delivery and the Mr would say.."we will be happy to see you"
The smile on that man's face will forever be embedded in my memory..
I did what I did......don't judge!!!!
