Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Funding is low at the moment, so Cruella Cat de Vil is going to be slow going. If you didn't see my video, this concept was born from the spinning of 2 wheels, at which time a character... Cruella... and style... anthropomorphic... were brought together. Tampa ComiCon Day 2! Had a blast taking pictures with so many amazing characters! My cameraman had his arms full of collectables, so we missed out on many photo ops. Final day tomorrow... hope to meet many more great people!

Ok... sad news. Ever since I "fixed" the tears in the skirt from my adorable little demon kitten..... I don't know.... I just don't love it. Now I'm disassembling and starting over.

Not the greatest pictures, but I'm working on better ways as I go. The final fit of the corset top, and it is like a glove. Nothing moves 😳 but it's not uncomfortable. Very excited to see this all come together!

Instead of stressing the fact that my boning channels aren't 100% perfect, I filled the tiny gap with black permanent marker.

She's starting to look amazing! Most of the boning is in, but I had to order some longer pieces for the front and back. Minor setback, but no worries!

Can't believe I created this without a store bought pattern! Super proud of myself right now... amazing what you can accomplish with a little bit of faith in yourself.

So store bought patterns have never been larger chest friendly. I thought I could use the base of the pattern and create the cups on my own. Nope! So back to square one... making my own pattern.

I didn't like the direction I was going, soooooo I changed it! Ripped off the croc skin, and started this weaving design. Once completed and secured, I'm going to do a strip of the croc skin down the center. Would love to hear any thoughts or suggestions.

So I created a couple darts on the back of the cap to fit my head better, sealed seams, and started the horn details. I absolutely love this so far! I need a little help choosing fabric for the cap. Center is faux croc skin, but should a use satin or peach skin for the wrap???

So glad I took a break from my dagger to do something that already had a pattern. Honestly, I was starting to doubt my ability to create anything within a reasonable time frame. I started this last night, so I'm feeling pretty good 😁 (I know it looks like Christmas, but it will be painted)
