Fun times at the WATEA - WI Auto & Truck Education Assoc. annual meeting presentation! Iola GearKids creator and coordinator and I partnered up to thank WATEA and their many members, including Wisco Cooperative Association, for all their support with the Iola Car Show! Weo had to grab a pic with Iain of Northcentral Technical College and David of Advance Auto Parts - both originally from Scotland! It was such a refreshing change to hear their accents. They were great sports and, fun fact, they’re from towns only about 30 minutes apart!

Thank you WATEA - WI Auto & Truck Education Assoc. for the invite to your annual meeting! It was great to meet with all those who had a hand in bringing the Pit Stop Challenge to the GearKids this year. Really neat to listen to David Lyddell of Advance Professional & Carquest Auto Parts talk about the innovations in the automotive industry! 🏁🛻👩‍🏭

We are looking forward to continuing to build this partnership! We are grateful for connections like Wisco Cooperative Association! 🥰

We are so incredibly proud of Iola GearKids Coordinator, Hayden, for the Aileron he was awarded at the EAA - The Spirit of Aviation Kidventure this morning! This award is not given out often and honors people who go above and beyond as a volunteer, and we couldn't think of a better recipient!!!! Please join us in thanking Hayden for all he does, all the time, all over the state representing Iola in the best way possible! 👏🥰🙌

WOW WOW WOW!!

Those are the words that I think of while reflecting on this years show.

Here are some numbers:
⚙️There were around 500 birdhouses assembled ⚙️ Over 300 kids took part in the future swapper activity
⚙️ Waupaca Foundrymade close to a thousand keychains
⚙️ Hunderds of kids played in the Faulks Bros. Construction, Inc. MEGA Sandbox
⚙️ WATEA - WI Auto & Truck Education Assoc.saw hundreds of people try there Pit Crew Challenge
⚙️ Many pins were traded in the first year of Pin Trading
⚙️ 1 moral was made with help from Wade Nieman
⚙️ And countless memories were made!

To everyone that came and visited our area and making our 3rd year a success thank you, we can’t wait to see what year 4 brings!
