Appreciation post for some of my favorite DJ tools, especially the tape :) Gaff tape holds the cables down and makes it safe for guests to come back to chat or give song requests to me, and no tripping! It also just has a **chef kiss ** vibe when it’s all prettied up!

Special shoutout to for my DJ booth, has been really fun using this wedding season, hoping to make a full long-term review this fall for my DJ friends!

Lighting up most of my dance floors this year has been , happy user here! Great customer service ✅✅✅

And last what kind of DJ would I be without speakers? have a tried-and true equipment lineup and this combo has served me well for especially my larger weddings and events.

A fun twist on the traditional anniversary dance = a great photo opportunity and an awesome dancefloor opening!

We planned the “reverse anniversary dance” at Emily and Brady’s wedding, where instead of dismissing couples by years married, we invited couples starting with their grandparents and working our way down so that the bride and groom were the last to join, right in the center of everyone! It was an awesome way to start the dancefloor 🔥

Let me present you with: crystal clear audio for your speeches!
It’s a catch-22, I have heard complaints that DJs are too loud for music, but also that guests can’t hear the announcements and speeches. In a large room I always make sure to add some extra reinforcement (look behind the toastmaster) to combat this. Turn it up for speeches and down for dancing to enhance the guest experience!

7-16 wedding story! Let’s talk about event capability: cocktail hour ➡️ outside, dinner (and the 1st dance!) was inside, and then dancing was ➡️back outside! This was no problem for me and gave the event a really cool flow with the awesome outdoor space at ! So, if you’re looking to incorporate multiple locations in your event, know that I’ve got you covered! Big shoutout to my tote full of extension cords too 😂
