The Hellenic Center offers an incredible venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate events and meetings, anniversaries, private parties, and other special occasions. Located in the beautiful town of Ipswich Massachusetts, this mansion has been a pristine setting for a variety of events over the years. The Hellenic Center offers exceptional cuisine and catering for all of our events. Ho

pkins Catering, Ithaki Mediterranean Catering, and Vinwood Caterers, we are prepared to accommodate all special requests and individual requirements. Boasting plenty of privacy, the 100-year-old Georgian-style mansion sits at the end of a long, private drive that guides you into a beautifully landscaped backdrop for your photographer to capture your special moments. The sprawling lawn is a picturesque setting for an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or tented reception. The mansion’s ballroom holds up to 250 guests in one room. It consists of gleaming hardwood floors, crystal chandeliers, two fireplaces, and French doors that overlook sculpted gardens. A historic grand stairway leads you to the mansion’s elegantly furnished bridal suites with private bathrooms for the wedding couple. The spacious Ballroom features a fully functional bar, gold Chiavari chairs and a Grand Stairway that leads to the Bridal Suite. French doors open to the Terraced Veranda with stairs that lead to the Sculpted Gardens offering a magical setting for a cocktail reception, picture-taking or an outdoor ceremony. The Hellenic Center’s Estate includes a Spacious Ballroom, Bridal Suite, Veranda and Sculpted Garden.

The estate at 117 County Road, known as Floriana, was constructed in 1903 for Anna P. Peabody, who lovingly bestowed the name upon it. Over its 120+ years, the estate has changed hands several times.

In its most recent transfer on July 12th, 1966, the property was acquired to become the Hellenic Community Center. Spanning over 13 acres, the estate boasted a three-story mansion, swimming pool, tennis court, four-car garage, and horse stables. Through the efforts of various individuals, organizations, and parish members, the historic estate has undergone improvements. An annual Greek Festival takes place every July on the estate grounds.

The Mansion at Hellenic Center, due to its picturesque setting, has evolved into a highly sought-after venue for weddings and events. The first wedding reception was held in June 1967, marking the beginning of countless more to follow.

Our rebranding initiative highlights the historical charm of the property and its scenic surroundings. The chosen name, Floriana, encapsulates the rich history of 117 County Road, creating a connection for those seeking a venue for weddings and events. This fresh identity underscores the time-honored legacy of the estate.

It's January. It feels like March, but I looked at the calendar and sure enough it's the middle of winter. Here's a reminder of just how beautiful winter is at the Mansion. Sheena & Josh had the good fortune to get married during the only snow storm we've had this month! They made the most of the winter wonderland and had a truly memorable day. Thanks Next Level Films for this fantastic film.
