FUN FACT FRIDAY !!! Hey planty friends - did you know that we just planted our stunning forced hydrangeas for EASTER this week ?!?! Whilst many of you are still Christmas shopping (and yes, we have amazing holiday sales going on this weekend), the Genrich greenhouse elves are planting these hydrangea cuttings !

They’re started in a dormancy cycle RIGHT NOW and their growth is regulated and timed to coincide with Easter 2025. First picture is a gorgeous finished plant from last spring and subsequent photos show size of cuttings and different stages of growth. Stay tuned , there’s always something growing on over here !

As 2024 comes to an end, we finish our Houseplant ‘STAFF PICK SATURDAY’ with the grand finale featuring our lovely bosses, Deborah and Stephanie Genrich.
Stephanie’s favorite is the Watermelon Peperomia and Deborah’s is the Japanaese Aralia!

The Japanese Aralia loves bright, indirect light and prefers to go a little dryer between watering (but never bone dry).
The Peperomia also loves to live in bright, indirect light. It is best to water when the soil is dry halfway down.

For both, ensure good drainage, and maintain a warm, slightly humid environment.
