When Logan’s mom asked me what Logan should wear for her pre-mitzvah session on the beach, I suggested a summery, beachy dress with a flowy skirt. I envisioned something she could have fun in and that would catch the wind beautifully. I even sent her a few links to some examples on Amazon.

When Logan chose one of those dresses, wow—what a treat! I was in photographer’s heaven. With the dress, the wind, the beach, and the beautiful Logan, these photos turned out so dreamy. Don’t you agree?

Last week we got to be part of the Jewish Federation of Orange County's sold-out Voices event by providing photography and photo booths. It is incredible to feel the energy when 600 (mostly) women come together for a cause.

Heather Kline was name Woman of the Year, honoring her for her years of service to the OC Jewish community.

Noa Tishby was the Keynote Speaker. We recognized her from her small roles in our favorite TV crime shows, but most people know her for her pro-Israel activism and as a NY Times best-selling author, among other things.

On November 10, 2023, I had the pleasure of shooting the “Salute Our Veterans!" joint event hosted by SBDN and BCOC at the VFW Post 3173 in Anaheim, CA.
As a Marine veteran and videographer, it was a special moment to commemorate the service and sacrifice of our brave men and women in uniform. Watch the highlights from this unforgettable evening, filled with gratitude, camaraderie, and the spirit of unity. Share the love and join us in saluting our veterans!

When we say things like "we were honored to be part of the 3rd mitzvah for this family," we really truly mean it. As photographer Miss Darcy was capturing the Father-Daughter dance during Courtney's bat mitzvah, the 3rd mitzvah she'd shot for the Rofe family, she found herself a little choked up. There was "little" Courtney, looking so grown up, and in the background was her big brother--now a freshman in college--dancing with his sweetheart.

When mom Kelly says that "you're part of the family now--you're never getting rid of us!" and says that next we'll be photographing weddings for them, we hope she really means it. We treasure being able to document the milestones for families and we do feel that in a way, we do become "family." These moments matter--not just to them, but to us to. Enjoy this little "then and now" with us :)

We had the honor of capturing the 3rd bat mitzvah for the Rofe family, and Courtney's bat mitzvah did not disappoint. She read from the Torah with confidence at Temple Beth David, and inspired more than a few tears when she honored her grandfather in her speech afterward. The weather was beautiful for the indoor/outdoor party at Turnip Rose's Promenade in Costa Mesa, where Bean and Jimmy Lee of Feel the Vibe Co rocked the party all afternoon (who else would the Rofes have?). Mazel Tav to the Rofe family!

We had to reschedule Courtney's pre Mitzvah session several times due to all the rain earlier this year, but it was worth the wait. Courtney has so much confidence, and thanks to years of dancing and performing, she's no stranger to posing either, so she was so easy to photograph. Enjoy.

It was an honor to photograph Shira's bat mitzvah, the third of 3 for the Baron family. After the years of mitzvahs and family portraits, the family has become client-friends and it's like watching one of our own grow up. Shira has changed from an adorable, sassy little kid to a classy (but still sassy) young woman that everyone wants to be around. You can see from these photos just how special she is to her family. Enjoy :)

Pre mitzvah portrait sessions give us the chance to know the b'nai mitzvah kids before the big day comes along. These twins were playful, fun, and energetic. Izzy loved being in front the camera and could have modeled all day. Jack was a good sport but was done as soon we got what we needed. But, anytime they were together I could tell they were best of friends, yet maybe also drove each other crazy.

It was an honor to photograph Shamara Foster and Xavier's wedding in Sacramento this weekend. Steven Mask and the father-of-the-bride have been best friends since high school so it was a very special day for all of us! The highlight for me is when the bride surprised the groom by singing "At Last" at the reception--she was so good I got goosebumps. Whoo! Congrats Taylor and Foster families!
