Savers Cost Plus

Our history:

Savers Cost Plus was founded in November 1987 in Irving, TX, creating a store with a new retail format known in DFW as Cost Plus.

The acceptance of Savers Cost Plus in the Irving community was so well accepted that the store had several major expansions, the first in 1996 where the store doubled in size and the second in 1999 when the store, once again, doubled in size. The 1999 expansion made Savers Cost Plus one of the largest Supermarkets in Irving. Departments were added such as "Cocina Economica, La Amistad", “The Friendly Kitchen” where offerings of delicious freshly made Mexican foods with homemade flavor, a first in a large Supermarket setting,"El Maizal" the corn tortilla factory made with nixtamal (the process of masa preparation using freshly cooked corn instead of corn meal), "La Flor de la Vida" our florist which currently offers arrangements custom and prepared there in the floral department and other new departments as well. A few years later, “Farmacia Central” was added to the store, which offers a full variety of pharmaceutical services.

Today we are proud to have 4 stores in key areas of each city: Dallas, Grand Prairie, Fort Worth and Irving.
