Bridal portraits - do them! It’s true; your wedding day goes by SO fast! I see photographers’ creativity shine through when the pressure and interruptions that can occur on wedding day isn’t there. Reasons to do bridals: 1) Hair/makeup trial run 2) you get to feel your dress in action 3) lots of pretty photos in pretty locations 😍

Do you know the average pricing for wedding flowers? BRIDE posted an article that broke floral costs down. (Of course, pricing can be higher or lower depending on location, season, type of flower, etc) a bridal bouquet can easily cost you $200-$300!
So here are some floral tips:
- pick multi-use pieces. Utilize your bridesmaids bouquets for centerpieces and your ceremony florals for your head table. If you have an arch for your ceremony, use it as a backdrop for photos.
- find a WOW piece. Your entire reception doesn’t have to be filled with flowers. Decide what you want to be a wow factor!
- always always always communicate with your florist! Did you know most florists will take your inspiration pictures and tell you what they can do with the budget you have?
- trust your florist. They’re the pros! They can look at a space and tell you based on your budget, the type of flowers, the size, the amount of flowers, if you should do tall arrangements or low arrangements!
- mix and match! When creating your inspiration board, look for 3-4 types of centerpieces that look good together. I always look for a tall floral, low floral, non-floral & a combo of floral and candles.
