The festival highlights African arts, clothing, dance, music, food, Hakuna Matata Kids Village, Kishwahili language workshop, Africa tours and travel information center and many activities, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for families and children,
Festival location is 15 minut

es on the outskirts of downtown Dallas and Fort Worth cities. There are limited camping available inside the festival Ground. It is 30 acres of wooded freedom, Primitive camping (RVs welcome). Our upcoming event will include:

DFW Africa Festival is a weekend of family fun celebrating the cultural diversity of Africa. The festival features arts, clothing, dance, music, food, Kids Village, language workshop, African tours/ travel information, and many other activities that create a friendly atmosphere for everyone.
This event celebrates diversity through the presentation of arts and crafts, cultural dances, speakers, live music, food, children’s village, story tellers, drum workshops, health screening, and traditional commodities in the marketplace.
We invite and encourage all African communities and cultures to join us in creating an exciting atmosphere for the public to learn about our culture. Performers and cultural groups that would like to showcase their talents during the festival are welcome.
People from all regions of the World are expected each day. Visitors will mostly be from the DFW community but each year the following grows and there are more international attendees.
You may bring a foldable chair and an umbrella. No pets are allowed.
