We are thrilled to announce that our talented student, Heidi Gaensbauer, has been promoted to Student General Manager at The Statler Hotel! 🎉👏 Please join us in congratulating Heidi and take a moment to read her introduction below:

"My name is Heidi Gaensbauer and I am so happy that you are staying with us! I am currently a Senior at Cornell University's Nolan School of Hotel Administration pursuing a concentration in Corporate Food & Beverage management. I have been working at The Statler Hotel since my Freshman year, starting as a Banquet Pastry Chef before transitioning into Catering as a Conference Services Manager, and am currently the Student Director of Sales & Marketing. In my time at Statler, I have worked in almost every department, so can confidently say that you are in great hands with our team here. Outside of the hotel, I was the HEC 99 Conference Services Director and am a HSMP Student Mentor. Cornell and Statler have taught me that Hospitality is creating that feeling of welcome and care. A great hotel is one that puts a smile on your face from the moment you arrive until long after you check-out; one that you will tell stories about for years to come. In the future, I hope to travel the world with a hotel company, creating events that leave lasting memories."
