We're so excited to be hosting the Foothills Art Festival next month! Check their post for registration information!

You've been patiently waiting and asking and it is finally here! Southern Hills Arts Council is proud to bring you the 42nd Annual Foothills Art Festival to the area. This year we will again be located at ParksEdge Event Center in Jackson, Ohio. Open to the public October 18-20, 2024.

Registration will look a little different this year but you have a variety of ways to register your pieces as an artist...and we would love to have you! You can register online by following the link posted above and below, registration forms will be on-site at ParksEdge during the two days of check-in (Oct. 13-14), or you can grab a format the Markay box office starting Wednesday September 11, fill it out, and return it with payment to the box office!

We look forward to having a great time this year and encourage artists of all levels and mediums to enter pieces and experience this beloved art festival!

“Located adjacent to Stockroom601 and Jackson’s own Manpower Park, the name for the event center seemed to evolve as ParksEdge Event Center. ParksEdge, which formerly housed the Ponderosa restaurant, will be completely renovated to accommodate a large reception/banquet hall as well as two private meeting rooms, and a catering kitchen.

As for the actual facility components, the main gallery can seat over 400 people in a banquet setting. One room will house meetings and parties facilitating groups from 1-24 attendees while a second meeting space will comfortably serve up to 40 persons. These spaces will be served by a state of the art catering kitchen space.

Multiple stage areas allow both bands and/or DJ’s. Bridal parties will enjoy space available for pre-wedding preparation for both the bride and groom. Events can be tailored to personal specifications including but not limited to dance floors, multiple bartending stations, linens, and coat checks. All legal beverages will be served and bartenders will be provided.”
