Sometimes you need to peruse online forums to find wedding advice you wish you knew before the big day. We waded through them for you and came up with some great tips: 🙌🏻
✅ “I wish I’d stayed off Pinterest and wedding Instagrams. The weddings (and styled shoots) in are beautiful to look at, but they didn’t really provide any wildly unique ideas, and they mostly just built disappointment and resentment about the beautiful things that I couldn’t afford." — itinerantdustbunny
✅ "Book vendors as early as possible, and don't take it personally when guests RSVP 'no. — Budget- Mall1219
✅ “Ask your families about any expectations they have at the very beginning. We ran into issues with both sets of parents that were entirely unexpected. This was the first time I’d ever had an argument with my in-laws (about the people I’d never met that they wanted invited).” —blonde_in_brooklyn
✅ “Go with your gut on your bridal party. Don't let people talk you into a specific person because they are ‘’family’ or "You've known them for years!" or "She's going to be your SIL!" — weddingwoethrowaway1
✅ Try to include your fiancé as much as possible in planning. I found the photographer and florals; he found the jazz band and DJ. I found the catering; he coordinated alcohol. I found the bus company for transportation; he booked the hotel block. — mn1278
Hope this helps!❣️
