Annie and Mike's story began at Santa Clara University. 🎓 After graduating, they first moved to San Francisco for jobs, then Chicago and Virginia for grad degrees, before settling in Seattle. 🌧⁣⁣
⁣⁣
During this time, the constant that felt like “home” was Jackson, where Annie’s father and stepmother, Mario and Amy, live nearly year-round. This is where Mike learned to ski (a prerequisite for joining the Espinosa family). 🚠⁣⁣

So, it was only natural that Jackson Hole Mountain Resort was their perfect wedding venue.⁣⁣⁣⁣

The Chapel of the Transfiguration is a small log chapel located in Grand Teton National Park. 💒⁣
⁣
It was built to serve the guests and employees of local dude ranches and sited to frame a view of the peaks through a large window behind the altar. 🏔⁣
⁣
The construction materials, labor, and funds to build the church were provided by local ranchers. 🐄⁣
⁣
Today, this chapel is on the National Register of Historic Places and serves as an iconic spot to hold a Teton-based wedding. 💍⁣⁣⁣

The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar's history dates back to the late 1890s when it was Jackson Hole's first bank and a doctor's office. Joe Ruby leased the small log building in 1933, remodeled it, and expanded it, before naming it Ruby's Cafe & Saloon. 🤠⁣
⁣
In December 1936, Joe purchased the property, and a few years later, signed the deed over to his manager Ben Goe. In 1939, Goe re-opened the saloon as "The Cowboy Bar." 🧲⁣

Suzanne and Joel met after Joel returned from his deployment to Desert Storm for the United States Marine Corps in 1991. They had a magnetic connection at first sight. 🇺🇸⁣

Fast forward to a fall trip to Yellowstone that included a visit to Joel's aunt and uncle’s ranch on the Hoback River in Jackson Hole. They instantly knew they would marry there and someday call Wyoming home. 🏔⁣
