We thoroughly enjoyed hosting and serving the individuals that came out to participate in the funeral planning seminar the past two days! It was put on by Lathan Funeral Home and supervised by Jonathan Edmonson. Jonathan was super helpful, courteous, and he provided a lot of very important information to the attendees that came to get information on funeral planning. There’s a picture of his card attached for anyone that may have questions, but didn’t get an opportunity to attend.

People often comment on how good our salads look. Well, we owe all the credit to one person and that’s Diane Tucker! Diane works diligently not only on the presentation, but also on ALL of the prep work for our salads as she cuts up everything fresh. No bagged lettuce here! 😁 Come in tomorrow or Friday, and let Diane make a salad, salad plate, or an order of croissants just for you!!

We had a very busy day on Friday, but the highlight of it all was helping to celebrate the 90th birthday of Mrs. Audrey Palmer! Her actual birth date was June 7th but a large group of her friends, family members, and church members decided to gather on Friday to celebrate the huge milestone. Mrs. Palmer is an absolute sweetheart, and we were so happy to be a part of her celebration!

We were making some salads for our own lunches & we came up with an idea to show our appreciation to our most active Facebook supporters/sharers/commenters. We selected the 4 individuals that Facebook designated as the “Top Fans” for our page, and we’re going to give each of you one of our signature, oh so delicious “Doshia’s Chef Salads” as a thank you for your support!
