TECH TUESDAY TIP: AirPods and Androids and Bears, Oh My!!!

Did you know that you can connect AirPods to an Android device using the standard Bluetooth pairing process? Follow the steps below if interested!

1. Enable Bluetooth on your Android device: Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth and turn it on.

2. Open the AirPods case: Place your AirPods in their charging case and open the lid.

3. Put the AirPods in pairing mode:

For AirPods (3rd gen), AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max: Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case until the status light flashes white. For AirPods Max, press the noise control button on the top of the right earphone.

For AirPods (4th gen): Double-tap the front of the case until the status light flashes white.

4. Select your AirPods on your Android device: Your AirPods should appear in the list of available devices. Tap on them to pair.

TECH TUESDAY TIPS: Microsoft Outlook

Did you know you can add multiple email accounts to Microsoft Outlook? You can even add accounts from Gmail, iCloud or Yahoo! Follow the steps below to learn how it's done...

1. Open the new version of Outlook (not classic) on your laptop or desktop
2. Select the View tab
3. Select View settings
4. Select the Account icon on the left
5. Under Email accounts, select Add Account.
6. Select a suggested account or enter the email address, then click Continue
7. If prompted, enter the password for the account and select Done

Now through December 12, play Beat the Winter Blues Bingo and help alleviate symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder. Each square is a simple action you can take (like checking out a book or museum pass from the library, or attending a free community event) to beat the winter blues!
Pick up a Bingo card at the library, Teton County Health Dept, the Senior Center, the Mental Wellness Collaborative, the Rec Center, or Mental Health and Recovery Services of Jackson Hole.
Turn in your completed card for a chance to win a prize! Slay those winter days!✍️🙂💨🫶

TECH TUESDAY TIP: Organizing Your Kindle Library
1. Open your Kindle device or app
2. Go to your Library
3. Tap the "Sort" or "Menu" icon (often an icon with three lines or three dots) in the top right or left.
4. Select Collections.
5. Tap the + icon or a button that says "Create New Collection".
6. Enter a name for your new collection and confirm it.
7. Select the books you want to add to the collection and tap the checkmark or "Done" button to save.

And don't forget you can read most Libby books on a Kindle e-reader using your Teton County Library card!
