The Alamo Theatre

The Alamo Theatre The Alamo Theatre is Mississippi's own Not-For-Profit theatre. You can reach Keishawna A. Smith, theatre manager, for rental information.

Since 1942, the Alamo Theatre has evolved from a western and African-American film establishment to a place that hosted historic artists, such as B.B. King, Nat King Cole and Dorothy Moore. Community restorations and attempts to keep the Alamo on solid ground have been successful over the years, but we still need the communities support, it has proudly entertained in the Historic Farish Street District for over 70 years. For questions please contact Mrs. Smith thru Facebook, email or phone.
