Henna fun facts of the day:
applying all natural henna paste mixture with essential oils has the ability to lower your body temperature slightly in extreme heat waves, as well as provide a shield from sun stronger than sunblock.

By far my favorite feature of henna has to be that it protects you from having to do the dishes for 24 hrs 😅🥳🫢 oopsie!

Friday 6/21/22 12noon-3pm come into ART 634 The Facepaint Faerie studios for complimentary (FREE) henna sampling from my board as reward for participation in my group art project!

On the 2nd floor tomorrow will have small presentation on art of henna & I invite you to come learn and design your own henna hand!

Submissions will be combined into a community art project to be revealed at upcoming Body Art Show Gallery exhibition!

This weekend, plant a tree or give back to our community and have fun doing it!

Cascades Falls Park is hosting a celebration tomorrow, 4-20-2024 (palindrome!) 1pm - 4pm. Kayak the urban fishing pond, live animals for the kids, tree seedling giveaways, games, activities and face painting. 1401 South Brown Street, near the pond.

More artsy than outdoorsy? On Sunday 11a - 4p head over to ART 634 for live music, food, art, make & take, and from 12 - 2, the The Facepaint Faerie will be doing henna and facepainting. Bring a non-perishable food item, feminine products, hygiene items, lightly-used or new art supplies or other donation to help fill a community resource box being built this spring.
