LGP curated Freedom Summer 60, commemorating the 1964 movement, in Indianola, MS during June 21-22, 2024. It was an amazing experience to bring together volunteers and staff from SNCC, NAACP, CORE as well as so many benefactors learning and listening to the stories that changed the political dynamic in America. Ten years ago, our CEO served as media manager for Freedom 50 at Tougaloo College. A decade later, Zakiya Summers was incredibly honored and humbled to be a part of history once again.
