Snowmaggeden update:

Your afternoon update goes as follows. Based on the current condition of the roads and the temps staying near freezing through midnight, we will not open tonight. However, we will open at 12 noon tomorrow for parties and general admission. This is based on the most recent weather channel app information. Stay warm and enjoy mother nature‘s bad joke.

Again, we are not a meteorologist, but we did play one on TV once …

Snowmaggeden update:

So, looking at our local weather in Jackson through tomorrow morning, it looks like temps are going to remain above freezing and drizzle rain for the rest of the day up until about midnight. If that is the case, it is more probable than not that we will open tonight. We will update you all on that as the day goes by.

For Saturday, it doesn’t look like we will have an issue opening according to the current information on the weather app. Any residue on the roads should probably melt or be minimal by mid morning Saturday and if this forecast holds and that is the case, we will open at our regularly scheduled time at noon. If there is any unsafe issue on the roads tomorrow mid morning, we will have a delayed opening of possibly 2 PM or so but we will definitely open tomorrow at some point. Sooner rather than later.
