I went to a nice restaurant at the beach yesterday. I ordered a spritz, as one does. I got carded for the first time in forever and from that point forward, the lovely waitress said my name everytime she spoke to me… “thank you, Ashlyn” “here’s your drink, Ashlyn” “Ashlyn, how is your cacio e pepe?” Game changer. And not only my name, she did this for the rest of the 15 friends that I was with. Of course, I had to ask her, ok is this a restaurant thing or a you personal thing?! It was all her. She said that by checking ids she locked in every name and by a round of drinks, she knew every name of every table that was hers. You better believe I tipped extra. Because she created an entire vibe and personal experience just by saying our names. It’s really the little things. So my fellow entrepreneurs…what can we add to our businesses to make a personal moment for those we serve? I’m so thankful Haley was our server, as she gave a fabulous reminder. How to pin a boutonnière on a suit jacket: -remove the two pins in back -place on jacket (I usually do in line with pocket) -use two pins on the back of the jacket and pin up into the flower -when the groomsmen comes back to you at 9 pm because it won’t stay… you just smile, take the pins, stick it into their pocket and tell them to have a great rest of their evening!😉 Brides! Before ordering boutonnières make sure that the men’s jacket can support it and that you don’t order them too heavy or too fragile!
