5 years.. 5 whole years of Well-Oiled. It just doesn’t seem possible. Looking back on how far we have come and how quickly it went, it’s hard to believe. What. A. Ride.

No one prepares you for the immense amount of grit it takes building a business. The stamina required to build your own brand. Nothing can prepare you for the mistakes you make, the deep personal struggles you have with yourself, daily. The questioning if you are capable of really making it all happen, and the fear that comes and goes thinking your doubters just may have been right. (Yes, we’ve had lots of doubters). Throw in a global pandemic, major supply issues, and a flailing economy all while you are trying to really get your business off the ground, and you have a recipe for disaster. Yet, here we are, 5 years in! Thriving. In ways we never thought possible. Doing things we never thought we would ever get to do, and most importantly being able to say NO to things that don’t suit who we are.

We have literally poured our blood, sweat and tears into Well-Oiled and to see that pay off to the magnitude that it has is immensely gratifying. Mike, Adam, and I started Well-Oiled as the best of friends. Another red flag to a lot of our nay-sayers, yet, our bond, like our business continues to strengthen, grow and evolve. We aren’t who we were 5 years ago. We may be a little more tired, have a few more gray hairs and the long grueling weekends do take a good toll on us on the Mondays that follow, but we were built for this. This business is not for the faint of heart. It will chew you up and spit you out and it’s humbling on the daily. But we wouldn’t have it any other way. “If you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life.”
To you all that have been with us on this wild ride...thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the continued support, encouragement, and faith in what we do. We truly would not be here without you and are humbly grateful for each and every one of you. Cheers to 5 years and many more to come! 🥂🍻🖤⚙️
