ONE MORE DAY!! Ralph Roddenbery is an impressionable singer/songwriter who has been part of the Athens and Atlanta music scene for many years. His performance will conclude our Spring Chapel Concert Series tomorrow night at 7 p.m.!

Ralph honed his songwriting and performance skills under the tutelage of Bill Berry (R.E.M), John Keane, Randall Bramblett, Davis Causey, and Dave Schools (Widespread Panic). Concert-goers can expect a mixture of stories, grooves, and lessons learned.

Ralph Roddenbery brings a dynamic blend of Americana, rockabilly, and a twist of country-folk blues with the musical talents of Brian Hillmann and Tommy Jones. He has been a fixture of the Athens and Atlanta music scene for many years and honed his songwriting and performance skills under the tutelage of Bill Berry (R.E.M), John Keane, Randall Bramblett, Davis Causey, and Dave Schools (Widespread Panic).

In a Charleston City Paper review, Ralph is described as having an “undeniable knack for tapping into the emotional undercurrent of his songs, many of which are just as likely to make you laugh as they are to cause moistening of the lids all within the same four minutes.”

Concert-goers can expect a mixture of stories, grooves, and lessons learned. Individual concert tickets are $30.

WOW!!!…Did we ever have a FANTASTIC CONCERT at the CHAPEL!!🤩!!
Tim Thompson (2 time winner of the International finger style guitar Competition) and his son Myles ( 2nd place in the international Mandolin competition) gave an amazing, wide ranging and sensational performance that brought the crowd to their feet!!!👍😲👍!!

IT’S HAPPENING!!!

The resurrection has begun👏🤗👍 and our FALL SERIES at the CHAPEL is underway. Last night was our first concert of the series and it was another wonderful night at CHAPEL….And now that we’re BACK we are committed to reestablishing THE CHAPEL as the BEST SMALL CONCERT VENUE around.

As I listened to some great music last night (that included stellar performances by some local “celebs”) I couldn’t help but think, “How lucky we are!”…to have this unique and historic 1880’s CHAPEL as a local venue for our concerts. It’s such an intimate and beautiful CHAPEL with great acoustics, loved by both the audiences who attend concerts and the musicians who perform.
And now, the MUSIC is BACK with some great musical experiences to come. If you weren’t there last night you missed a good one. And with your support there will be a whole lot more. So join us in October for the Tyler Neal Band and in November for the amazing EG KIGHT!!
We are all looking forward to many more unforgettable nights at THE CHAPEL!! So join us!👍

Great News!!!!!!

The Concerts at the 1880’s BEACHES CHAPEL (the Best Small Concert Venue in North Florida) are coming back!!! YEEOOW!!🫨🤗😎!!!
As with many live venues COVID hugely impacted the viability of the CHAPEL as a unique and thriving music venue. But with the support of all of you out there, it’s time for a Resurrection!!!

So now we’re back, dipping our feet in the water and we’ve scheduled three concerts this fall.

John Miller has come up with a tasty menu. First, on September 25th is Steve Boyd from Nashville. Steve is an iconic Nashville musician that John guarantees will get the CHAPEL rockin!!🎸🎹🎼!!!(see bio below)
Next in October 24th is the Tyler Neil Band from Atlanta. With roots going back to the famous Colonel Bruce Hampton band these guys are sure to please.
And finally on November 15th we will have the incredible EG KITE TRIO for another unforgettable night at the CHAPEL!!! EG has previously sold out the CHAPEL and we are totally STOKED to have her return!!!!

We are super excited about this the return of the CHAPEL CONCERTS!! We hope you are too! Here’s to the resurrection of wonderful evenings at the CHAPEL, the best and most unique small concert venue around. So great to enjoy the “CHAPEL EXPERIENCE” again (post covid). An amazing night of music from Noel Friedline, Maria Howell and their Band.🤗!! Without a doubt the unique 1880’s “CHAPEL” remains the finest small concert venue around!!❤️👍!!
