“To say our wedding day was a massive undertaking would be putting it lightly. Between the fusion of cultures including two weddings in one day, a pandemic with a year postponement, and a very picky yet horrendously indecisive bride and groom Tatum had her hands full with us. However, despite all the challenges she faced our wedding was absolutely flawless. Of course our opinion is biased but her work speaks for itself. Our wedding day for Tatum and the whole Make My Day team started around 5am and continued on until well after midnight (like I said Tatum had her hands full with our wedding). Tatum seamlessly coordinated what I am sure was her craziest and most extensive wedding. From start to finish we handed the reigns off to Tatum and she handled EVERYTHING for us. There was not a single detail missed nor did we have to lift a finger for anything. Tatum is one of the most organized people I have ever met (and that is saying something coming from another type A personality). From the day we sat down to meet with her at Starbucks I knew she was going to be our wedding planner. She was so down to earth and genuinely cared about our wedding day and we hadn’t even hired her yet. No matter what curve balls came her way Tatum handled them gracefully. And at the end of our big day all of our guests raved about how seamless our day transitioned from the Hindu wedding in the morning to the Christian ceremony in the evening. Tatum is the BEST at what she does and you will not be disappointed!”

Celebrated a beautiful couple in Savannah last weekend!

Fun fact: I actually helped Desi pick out her wedding dress. I was so honored when she asked me to join her at her bridal shop appointment and loved getting to see her light up when she tried on THE dress.

She looks stunning, doesn’t she!?

Another fun fact: I sold wedding dresses when I was in college. It was my first toe dip into the wedding industry and just a couple short years later I was starting my own business. Helping this beautiful bride say yes to the dress brought back all those memories!

One of the best ways I get to know my brides is through their ‘maids. You’ll learn a lot about a person by the way their friends talk about them and what they do for them on their wedding day.

I often get texts from unknown numbers that will then read “Hey! It’s the MOH. I wanted you to have my number so that the bride doesn’t have to worry about a thing. Let me know if you need anything.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I often will see a bridesmaid sneaking into a back room to help a bride fix her bustle, fix her hair or touch up her lipstick.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I often see lots of tears when bridesmaids see their friend in their dress for the first time.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I love seeing bridesmaids love on my brides. 🖤

How I feel about finally getting to celebrate Dana and Mitt yesterday after over 2 years of planning + rescheduled date due to the pandemic.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was a day to experience, that’s for sure! An 18 hour work day arriving before the sun came up and leaving after 1:00 am the next day! 🤣
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
An early morning Baraat, Hindu ceremony and lunch + a traditional American ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Won’t ever forget it!

The vendor team was incredible and I’m so grateful Dana and Mitt had the best day!

Love a good aisle filled with Rose petals!

When requesting petals on your aisle, you want to consider the wind. A florist can’t magically make petals stay in place on a windy day.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Also, if you plan to have petals line your aisle like this, you’ll want guests to take their seats from the outside of your chairs!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Make sure you have a coordinator to direct this or something preventing guests from walking down the center!

Always love a great reception under the palm trees!
