Bit & Spur Saddle Club Bit & Spur Saddle Club Established 1964, on the Northside of town. Located behind the Holiday Inn at the airport.

The mission and purposes for which this corporation is formed are: To engage in charitable and educational activities in connection with the promotion of interest in horses and horsemanship; to promote and develop fellowship among the horse lovers of Jacksonville Florida, and those of other towns; participate in national and international amateur equine sporting competitions; Promote the good heal

th and well-being of all equine and prevention of any illness, injury and/or miss handling or harm in any way.

Don’t forget Florida Sheriffs Boys Ranch Annual Open house show is coming up and will be on February 21-February 23,2025.

It is wonderful weekend get away and fun for the entire family.

Free chicken and rice on Friday night

$10 BBQ lunch on Saturday

We will run poles, arena race, Texas and cloverleaf . Entry Fee includes a BBQ ticket.

Will have music at the entrance on Friday and Saturday night!

There will be TWO shows at this club. Come camp out and ride both . Coastal Plaines 5 events on Saturday then NEFBRA 3 event on Sunday . Two totally different Associations . Run what you like on both. Become a member at NEFBRA and you qualify running a certain amount of shows TBA and be eligible for SHOOTOUT with extra $$$$ at end of season, several shows will be offered some on Saturday and some on Sunday and buckles will be given out . On NEFBRA you may pre enter the Monday-Friday b4 show on Sunday 26th 904-226-2033 name of rider, horse, class open, youth , sidepots seniors, crackpot . You may ride open and roll over if you like .

For the new season buckles will be awarded, hopefully some extra added money along the way and some other surprises. You do not have to be a member to run. CLOVERLEAF WILL BE RAN FIRST WITH EXB FROM 8-10. POLES EXB FOLLOWED BY OPEN POLES THEN ARENA RACE. You pick what games to run, if a member you can run a certain number of games TBD and qualify for SHOOTOUT at end of season. More info to follow There are pony, youth, open, crackpot and senior to pick from to run . Family fun and something for everyone, see you SOON.
