Flying for Thanksgiving? We encourage travelers to get here early! We recommend arriving at least two hours prior to departure time to find parking, check bags, and navigate through security.

We expect as many as 15,000 passengers will fly out of JAX on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, as well as the Sunday and Monday after the holiday.

Airport parking will reach full capacity. Please have a plan: consider using off-airport parking on Airport Road, being dropped off at the terminal, or using an alternative means of transportation to travel to the airport such as an Uber, Lyft or taxi.

MORE SHUTTLE DATES

In addition to the shuttle service provided on Saturday, November 23 for Light-Up! Night, free park and ride shuttles will operate on Friday, November 29, Saturday, November 30, Saturdays in December, and the five days following Christmas (Thursday, December 26 through Monday, December 30).

Additionally, in anticipation of increased crowds following the New Years holiday, shuttles will operate only from the Broudy’s lot on Saturday, January 4, 2025.
