Tired bubbles and playing in water!! 🐴💧

Along with no stirrups November we decided to take away the use of their reins. We have incorporated having our students post and 2 point at the trot with one arm out while going around the arena and ground poles. For some of our more experienced riders we are applying this same exercise at the canter and over a line of cross rails. All of our riders from our pee wee riders to our more advanced students are all participating in these exercises. They are learning the importance of a proper connection and placement of their lower leg help them stay more balanced on the horse. Also learning proper use of their core is more effective than just pulling on the reins. In the video is one of our students who school 2 feet but, the exercise was done over cross rails. It’s not about the height of the jump. It’s about building a proper foundation.
