I took this image over 25 years ago, the first year I opened my portrait studio.

it was recently found in a box of photos that I hadn’t seen for many many years, and it brought tears to my eyes. Time does indeed fly and it’s important to remember what makes it so special.

this image is of my great niece, who is like my daughter, and I wouldn’t take anything for it. We had found a field of bluebonnets in a very unlikely place here in Jacksonville and many of my first year portrait. Clients got to experience this unusual setting eventually they cut down the field and sadly , they were no more bluebonnets to be found.

I cherish this image, because I love this child so much, and she has grown into a beautiful young woman.

my career as a professional photographer has allowed me to be a part of it, and witnessed the growth of so many amazing children over the years many of whom now I am doing their weddings, as they start that all important chapter in their life .

when I see this image immediately taken back to that day in the bluebonnet field. My Taylor was the sweetest child on earth and always willing model. Thanks my love for being you. ❤️
