The centerpiece of our property is a 6,000 square foot event venue with the aesthetic look of a country barn but all the modern conveniences for you and your guests. Our heated and cooled 3,400 square foot Oak Ballroom can accommodate up to 200 guests with an unparalleled sense of rustic elegance. The barn also features handicap accessible restrooms, two spacious lounge/dressing areas for the wedding party and a large catering kitchen.

We get a lot of questions about bringing yard games in for wedding receptions - and the answer is, YES! Your guests will have so much fun during cocktail hour with games like co****le, giant Jenga, and jumbo Connect Four.

All we ask is that games stay on our paved patio, and not in our grass. You can even have personalized games created for a fun memento from your wedding day!

Ten. Years. 🥳

It's been 10 years since Bowing Oaks officially opened our doors with our first wedding on November 16, 2014. It was a flurry of activity in the weeks leading up to the wedding - finishing up construction, getting tables and chairs in, and figuring out how to actually run a venue.

Luckily our first couple, Ann and Mark, had lots of experience in the wedding, hospitality, and event/concert production industries. Even though they may have been freaking out a bit, we all knew it would work out and it did.

10 years ago today (11/15/14) we were preparing to host their rehearsal dinner on our patio while inside decor was being installed for the wedding reception the next day. We had a sweet orange kitty that made Bowing Oaks his home while we were under construction - and he couldn't understand why he wasn't allowed inside the building anymore!

A lot has changed in 10 years, but a lot has stayed the same. We've learned a lot and we feel like we've gotten our systems and processes down to a science. We've added enhancements, we've dreamed about the future and we've loved the sweet couples that have chosen to host their wedding at Bowing Oaks.
