pens the door for a new way of experiencing a wide range of arts and entertainment. At the heart of BiGHOUSE is a traditional art gallery with a drastically different philosophy. By approaching the exhibition of emerging and mid-career local, regional, and national artists’ work as entertainment rather than as a sales event, we are able to transform the traditional – and increasingly ineffective – gallery space from an austere storage area awaiting a money-man into a democratically-fueled space where Art is appreciated in unison with interesting and applicable Arts events. Also included in the gallery concept are live exhibitions by adapting intimate performance areas to adaptable staging and seating needs. Typical Live Space Performances Include:
• Artistic-but-accessible musical artists, including experimental music, cabaret musicians, jazz combos, and a tightly-programmed listing of musical artists
