Unfortunately it looks like the weather will be persistent just enough to interfere with a majority of our 3 day weekend. With that being the case, we will have to cancel this weekends activities @ Piedmont.

We will see if there’s any availability on the Piedmont schedule for a new date the next couple days.

Blane Parrish was on a mission this weekend taking day 1 yesterday and not to be denied on day 2 as well.
Parrish not only made the clean sweep, but he got to do it along side his best friend Thomas Davis who was lighting up the scoreboard all day with a barrage of .00X lights to take the runner-up spot.

Congrats to these 2 young men on a job well done!

Thanks to all the racers that believed in us and showed up with the dismal forecast we were dealt.

Also, thanks to Josh Peake and the entire Galot Staff on an awesome track and all the hard work they put in over the weekend! We sincerely appreciate you all.

“SATURDAY” ST. PAT’S Results

🍀After being beat down all week with a nasty forecast and all the wonderful social media outlets that said we’d never get a race in Friday or Saturday we’ve somehow managed to crown another main event champion.

Last Man / Woman standing in the finals were Blane Parrish and Michelle Pelo respectively. Both local drivers whittled their way through a heavy saturated doorcar field to earn their spots in the final. Unfortunately, once the tree fired Pelo turned it -.002 red handing the automatic win to Parrish.
Congratulations to our finalists.

Thanks for the hard work and support from the Galot staff and racers alike.

See y’all tomorrow morning and let’s get ready to enjoy another 70° day!

Track surface is mostly dry after steady rainfall beat down on us all night and into the early morning hours.

Shutdown is going to take a bit longer to complete

Forecast is showing precip moving out early this morning in the next 4-5 hours and we anticipate a start time hopefully around 11:00 am for time runs for the first of 2- 40Ks.

Plenty of time to load up and join us!

🍀GALOT Testing $30 for Loose Rocker racers “only” 10am-until (pay Galot at front gate)

🍀Loose Rocker 10K - 64 Shootout tickets go on sale @ 10am first come first serve / Round 1 of the shootout 2pm

🍀Thursday GATES OPEN 12 noon
Galot testing from 4pm-10pm ($30 t-n-t) crew or spectators must pay $10 if parking and staying overnight

🍀Friday GATES OPEN @ 8am / Loose Rocker racers testing only ($30 t-n-t) *Also we will run a 64 / 10K SHOOTOUT weather and time permitting* First come , first serve on the 64

*GATES OPEN ALL NIGHT FOR LATE NIGHT TRAVELERS*

🍀Saturday and Sunday 40K to Win Each Day GATES OPEN @ 8am / Time Run on Saturday 10am

First let me say thank you to everyone that’s already entered into the Top ET St Pat’s event.

*With next week rapidly approaching and the event sitting about 1/2 full to pay the 100K format we’ve got to make some changes.

*I’ve got a proposed format change that will be a little easier financially for everyone and here it is.

*If you’ve already paid the pre-entry $500 you’re already entered for the weekend obviously. If you don’t want to participate in the new format we will handle any refunds requested.

*Any weather related concerns I’m aware of them I assure you and we’ll do our best to make sure we race next weekend. If a call needs to be made to Re-Schedule it will be handled on Wednesday February 28th by 12pm EST.

*If you would like to discuss anything else concerning the event text me @ 910-388-5760 and I’ll be glad to answer your questions.
