My last session of 2021 was indeed a special one with this young man. He insisted on his snowmobile being part of this so we got it done this morning after checking conditions in two towns just to find a little snow.

Hunter was the first person to tell me during a photo shoot "you're good at this". Must have been my goofy self. Haha. It was work to get him to stop smiling long enough to get more serious shots. He'll never know what those words meant as I head into what will likely be a pitiful winter for me. No snowmobiling, no snowshoeing, limited to no winter photography, and probably no sugarbush for me. Pain, recovery, staring at birds out the window, and my day job 🤮. It's kinda depressing but this morning was definitely motivating to keep on keeping on.

Congratulations Hunter on wrapping up high-school and good luck to you in the National Guard and beyond! This was fun and it was just what I needed to end the year on a good note! Happy New Year!! 😁❄️🇺🇸📷

It was a busy weekend that ended on high note for me. These kids are why I do this. It's safe to say, I looked forward to this shoot more than most! A local Vermonter to his core, this 2022 senior will be a McCann tech welding grad and is an athlete devoted to three sports a year. We had our photoshoot yesterday on the sabbath because he couldn't hunt in Massachusetts. I presume he works more now than many “adults” I know and with much better work ethic. After our shoot ended he said “I don’t know, maybe I’ll go back to work”. He is such a personable young man but I expected nothing less. I know he makes his parents and family proud! I am absolutely sure we will hear more about his success in life after graduation. Congratulations Cole!

Long time no talk!! Married 🤵 👰🏻 life is good and time is flying by. I have some availability this weekend for portraits given a scheduling change. I’ve got early morning or evening availability Saturday and Sunday if anyone is interested. Great for couples, families or seniors! Give me a shout. Last minute is where it’s at for now!

^^This is just the excuse I needed. I’m so excited to share pictures of these two. Sunday we got off the grid, maybe drank a couple beers🍻, and dodged rain drops 🌧 with the glorious view that is at “Zinfandel” 🍷. Behold my “favorite” seniors from the Class of 2021. I absolutely love photographing these young people, getting to know them, and the options they are exploring after graduation. I am always most interested in learning about their hobbies and connections within our community. These photos are a byproduct of that conversation.

A special shout out to Kylie, Finn, Alexis, Cody and Colin who will walk tomorrow for Twin Valley! Congratulations you guys and I can’t wait to see you all. Don’t forget to “cheese” for me. I know you will not disappoint 😉❤🎓

It’s taken getting to this point to get to this point. I have had two portrait inquiries in the last week and was completely overwhelmed by both….

Effective immediately I will not be scheduling any portrait sessions for the foreseeable future… One exception....

To the local families whose photos I’ve taken for many years…please reach out to me and I will make special accommodations this year to make sure I can fit you in. This year is already feeling pretty chaotic so please bear with me. I love you guys and your kids! You all understand how photography fits into my life while I'm working full time.

That’s all I’ve got for right now.

P.S….Planning a wedding is like having another job!...

❄️🎄Well Friends...it's finally happened. I can't take a photo to do my photo justice. Here is my snow covered sled on a piece of slate. Yesterday morning I revealed this thing and was blown away. It is by far one of the most beautiful things I've ever created. This and many more of my holiday and seasonal creations are going to be for sale at the Branch View Farm in Heath starting on Black Friday. I hope you can make the trip.
