But, Jacksonville has also produced a proud history, as the community has hosted previous events that gained national recognition. The area is also home to numerous professional organizations and collegiate teams that represent the community in a first class manner.
Our track record of tremendous sporting events and quality sports teams is a great indicator of making Jacksonville one of the elite sports destinations in the country. Looking into the future, our first priority will be to promote, develop, and attract numerous youth sporting events. We also anticipate events such as neutral site college football games, major NCAA and conference level events in a variety of collegiate sports, and professional sports events.
