3 different takes on a staged trinket shot. Not sure which one I like best ! :)

I think the key to being a good wedding photographer is providing as many angles and options as possible, that on top of making sure you over shoot it all. This way when editing you have a ton of options to w**d out the ones that work and the ones that don't. We as photographers aren't perfect and since we are not in a studio not all images are gallery worthy. However, there should be no excuses when you provide the gallery to your clients. I myself have full confidence they will love there images....... :)

If anyone wants to see an entire body of work here is a resent wedding. Most photographers will never do this because the gallery isn't so consistent. Anyway, no one works harder on wedding day than someone as passionate as myself to make it happen... :)

It was very dark so sometimes we need to create our own light. Duel flash set up. One from behind and one in the front. This creates a fairy tale look. Now, what to do about that flock of gnats ! For the final images, I'll have to shop them out... :)

He was very professional and did such a phenomenal job at capturing such beautiful photos and truly candid moments. I think what sets John apart from other photographers is his passion for the work he does. Me and my husband are not the most photogenic and have struggled in the past with posed photos. John made the process of taking post photos absolutely seamless! He gave great suggestions on how to pose/position ourselves to ensure a good shot which can sometimes feel a little awkward, but John made us feel completely comfortable throughout the whole process. We also received our Digital photos very timely in less than two weeks after our wedding. I cannot say enough good things about John fountain and his work. A really gloomy stormy day. But add some off camera fill flash and jack up the editing colors and it all seems to work out.

Experience matters. No excuses on wedding day. The bride and family won't remember how bad the lighting was but they will always remember how good you made the images shine ! :

Shot a conference at One Ocean this week. The company wanted some backdrop head shots. I did those for at least 50 people. However, I asked the CEO if he wanted to get creative and look for something difference for a few extra shots. I found this piece of wall art and presto, the creative head shot was born.

Once in a while I'll see the lens flare as I'm in the moment capturing memories. Many photographers will simply move to avoid having the sun hit their lens. I welcome the light and how it reacts with the flair, knowing there will be an opportunity to capture something unique.
To some this image won't work but to others it is art in motion.....
