🗣Congratulations to this year's Coach Ronnie Smith Scholarship winner, ELIZABETH FISHER!! 🎉🏅Elizabeth competed on Ragsdale's swim team, teaches swimming lessons in the community and will be attending N.C. State University in the fall. 🏊‍♀️🐺 We are proud of you, Elizabeth, and wish you all the best in the years to come!

This year's recipient swam at Ragsdale and plans to attend Western Carolina University in the fall. 🎉🎉 A big CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Aaron Newman!!! 🎉🎉

March 22nd is Coach Smith's Birthday! Sharing some Ronnie wisdom, as it only seems right in a world that is so difficult these days:

-"You are no better than anyone else"
-"You don't have to like everyone but you can get along with everyone"
-"You can't help what color you were born"
-"If you do your best, that's all I can ask of you"

One thing Coach Smith was big on was treating everyone the same and being fair. In light of all the problems in today's world Coach Smith's wisdom is timeless and can certainly be applied even these 13.5 years later.

Happy heavenly Birthday, Ronnie! We miss you!

No golf tournament, no problem. We were still able to award a scholarship due to the money we've brought in over the past 10 years that has gone into an endowment fund.

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone a month ago for the 10th Annual Coach Ronnie Smith Golf Tournament! Not only does seeing each of you enrich our family's lives but through the foundation, we all enrich the lives of kids about to embark on the next phase of their lives!

Thanks to the support of so many, the 10th Annual Golf Tournament raised $8,105 !

"It takes a village to raise a child", and with the vision of Ronnie Smith and the continuation of his legacy, we are all contributing to the lives of men & women of the future!

We had 122 golfers today, countless volunteers & smiles all around! Thank you God for beautiful weather and the fellowship today, brought together by Ronnie and the legacy he left.
