This isn’t a venue with a house on it. It’s a house with a wedding in the yard.

We live here. The porch is where we drink our coffee in the morning and where we sit after the last guest pulls out on Sunday. It’s been the backdrop for first looks, the spot where a bride’s grandmother watched the whole ceremony from a rocking chair, and the place where more than one groom hid out for a deep breath before walking down.

A purpose-built venue gives you a blank room. A home gives you a front porch that’s been loved for a hundred years and is happy to hold your day for one more.

Booking summer and fall 2027, 2028 open. Come sit on the porch yourself at our last open house of the season, October 11, 1–3 PM.

✨ Last Open House of 2026 ✨

We’re throwing the gates open one more time before the farm settles in for winter.

Sunday, October 11, 1–3 PM. No appointment, no pressure. Wander the ceremony sites, stand in the reception space and picture the string lights on, ask us every question you’ve got face-to-face. The fields will be golden, the light will be doing its October thing, and yes, Clementine will be there greeting guests like she owns the place.

We’re currently booking summer and fall 2027, and 2028 just opened up. If you’ve been meaning to come see Twist Farm in person, this is the last easy chance until spring.

Everyone you love, in one place 🌾

That’s really all a wedding is. The people who raised you and the people who chose you, sitting elbow to elbow at long tables under the walnut trees, staying late because nobody wants to be the first to leave.

Grandparents in the good chairs. Kids underfoot. Somebody’s uncle already at the bar. Your closest friends in a loose circle by the tables, still talking about something from twenty minutes ago.

We live here. This is our family’s farm, our dirt road, our trees. And the best days out here are the ones where it stops feeling like a venue and starts feeling like a very big family dinner that happens to have a dance floor.

Bring your person. Bring your people. We’ll leave the lights on.

There’s a window here, and it’s shorter than most people expect. 🌾

September through mid-October is when this place looks most like itself. The fields go gold.

The light comes in low and warm starting around four. The oaks are still holding their leaves, and evenings cool off enough that nobody’s melting in their suit.

After that we stop. We’re an outdoor venue in the foothills, and late fall weather here does what it wants, so we’d rather protect your day than gamble with it.

We’re booking Fall 2027 and 2028 now. If you’re picturing gold fields and string lights against an early dark sky, those are the dates to ask about first.

Twenty minutes from Sonora, 55 from Yosemite.

We live here 🫶

Not a photo backdrop we built. Not a facade dressed up for weddings. It’s the door we walk through with groceries, the porch we sit on at the end of the day, the stone steps that have been here longer than any of us.

And a few times a year, a couple stands on them and gets married.

Couples bring their own vision and it always fits, because the house doesn’t have a style it’s imposing on anyone. Pampas and terracotta on the steps one weekend, wildflowers and white linen the next. The bones stay the same. The rest is yours.

We think that’s what sets Twist apart. Not amenities, a place with a real history that lets you add yours to it.

To everyone who came out to the Open House, thank you! It was wonderful to show you around. Now…Meet Clementine, our beer b***o. 🍺

Her job description is short: carry the beer, accept the attention, be extremely photogenic. She has never once complained about any of it.

She works cocktail hour, mostly. Guests spot her across the field, someone says “wait, is that a donkey with beer,” and then there’s a line. She’s been the unofficial star of more weddings than we can count at this point, and she knows it.

If you’re picturing your cocktail hour and there isn’t a b***o in it, we’d like to gently suggest reconsidering.

Planning to come see us August 9th? Read this 🌾

A few friendly tips for our Open House (Sunday, August 9th, 1–3 PM). Wear comfy shoes, this is a real working farm, and the best way to feel a place is to walk it, gravel and grass and all. Come with your questions, even the awkward ones about budget and logistics; we’d rather talk it through honestly than have you guessing.

Bring whoever helps you make big decisions, your partner, your mom, your ride-or-die. And don’t rush off; the couples who linger are usually the ones who realize, somewhere between the oaks and the farmhouse, that they’ve found it. Oh, and Clementine will be around to say hello.
