Here’s a little glimpse into their love story 💫

Nora and Austin’s story began in La Crosse, Wisconsin, where they first met on a notable New Year’s Eve. The spark between them ignited in a lively bar (better known as Twisted Moose) as they celebrated the arrival of the new year.

Fast forward a year, and Nora and Austin couldn’t help but naturally gravitate towards each other. It took them about 10 months to figure out that what they had was more than just a casual connection.

After graduating, Nora and Austin moved to Madison, Wisconsin, excited to start their life together. They helped each other navigate their new adult jobs and explored their new city.

Nora and Austin enjoy trying new restaurants, indulging in movie and show marathons, hunting, fishing, and doting on their beloved Aussie, Harper, who’s a bit on the spoiled side but all the more cherished for it.

Now, looking forward to married life, Nora and Austin eagerly anticipate sharing their big day with loved ones and the exciting adventures that lie ahead.

Here’s a little sneak peek into their love story 💫

We met at the University of Wisconsin Madison swimming together. We started as friends first, had a small fling when we were freshman, and made our way back to each other junior year, and have been together ever since. Over 5 years together now, and we have a cat together named Milo, an orange tabby who completes our little family! Counting down the days until I can call him my husband and he can call me his wife! Ahhhhh! 🤍

After a year and a half of planning, your wedding is just days away. From picking the dream venue, to finding the perfect linens, combing through details and confirming logistics, everything you have worked hard to achieve is about to come to life. I am so very excited for you, and have loved every minute of getting to know you and helping you plan your big day!

A double wedding weekend for the win 🥂

Grace + Mitchell got married on Friday at , and we couldn’t have asked for better weather! An absolutely gorgeous day provided the perfect background for their ceremony by the willow trees.

When Grace and Mitchell called me last February, I was absolutely honored to have been referred by her dad, , to help oversee their wedding planning and event! I had been eagerly awaiting their big day for quite some time, and I couldn’t be more happy for the two of them!

Two beautiful families were joined together on Friday, and it is undeniable how loved you both are by so many people. Thank you for allowing me to play a special part in this nee chapter of your life!

We met in the police academy in 2020. In between days of learning to drive fast and defend ourselves we found a connection. As we got to know each other more and formed a deep friendship, we knew one day we would make the commitment to spend the rest of our lives together. Over the last four years, we have strengthened our relationship and love for each other. Here’s to forever Favors!

We have been planning their special day for nearly a year and a half, and I am so excited to see all the planning we have done come to life!

We were both students at UW Madison and met at a friends get-together for restaurant week. We quickly became close friends and confided in one another for many years. After we graduated, we both moved to different states for our post-graduate training, but we still continued to stay in touch. It was during this time when we were apart that we realized how much we meant to one another. So we took a chance at turning our friendship into a romance, and everything fell into place. It’s incredible to fall in love with your best friend and spending the rest of your lives together.

It isn’t busy season without a double wedding weekend!! Kicking off another • w e d d i n g w e e k • as we get ready to celebrate Krystal and Dan!! I have been assisting this couple for just over a year to build their dream wedding, and I am so excited to see it all come together this Friday at !

Here is a little glimpse of their love story 💫

Our love story began in 2020 when we met through the online dating app Bumble. From the very beginning, we were both incredibly happy and quickly fell in love. Our relationship blossomed, leading us to build a life together. Today, we share a beautiful home and the joy of raising our 14 month old Son Dean. We cannot wait to get married and spend our special day with family and friends we love most.

Shouting happy • w e d d i n g w e e k • to Megan and Mikey, who are getting married this Saturday at ! We have combed through the details, and sorted out the logistics, and now it’s time to tie the knot! 💍

Here’s a little peek into their love story 💫

Mikey and I are high school sweethearts.. We started dating in May of 2014.  Throughout high school we fell in love and knew we had found something special. We graduated high school together in Sun Prairie, WI. After high school, we started our long distance journey as I started nursing school in Madison, WI and Mikey was off to Canada to play junior hockey. Two years later, the distance shortened as Mikey was now back going to college in Menomonie, WI. A year later, I left for Rochester, MN to start my nursing career at the Mayo Clinic, lessening the distance once again. The summer before Mikey’s senior year we got engaged at our favorite place, the cabin. After Mikey’s graduation the long 6 years of distance came to an end and we found ourselves back in the same place where it all started, Sun Prairie, WI. Since then, we have moved into our first home and have a black lab, Mae, who we absolutely adore.

I am so excited to celebrate with these two this weekend, and see their beautiful day come to life 🥂

Here’s a little glimpse into their love story 💫

While both living in Michigan, Jon & Bailey met in one of the only ways available during a global pandemic - through the dating app Hinge. The two hit it off immediately, and after a few slightly awkward Facetime calls, they had their first real date by walking Bailey’s dog, Nike, and watching the Superbowl together. The two quickly found they were perfect for each other with their shared love of sports, family & friends, playing games, and of course their best pup Nike. Just over two years after their first date, Jon proposed to Bailey in the same park where they had their first date. Recently, they took another big step forward by moving to De Pere, Wisconsin where they are incredibly excited to begin their lives together as husband and wife.  

I can’t wait to celebrate you two, and meet that sweet pup you both talk about 🐾 as you start your journey together as husband and wife 🥂

John and I met through bumble, although our paths had almost crossed many times before. We grew up in the same town, but matched on bumble when we both lived in Sun Prairie in 2019, about a mile from each other! Through our relationship, we have learned of times that we could have crossed paths but didn’t, like when we were both at the same golf event and have pictures in the same spot! John went to school around the time my sister Brianna did, and his brother JB went to school when my sister Rebecca and I did! We’ve started to grow our family with 2 dogs and a cat, but we can’t wait to see what this next chapter of marriage looks like ❤️

We swiped right the morning of June 21 and shared our first order of helmet nachos at Miller Park that same night. We are total opposites and the perfect complement to one another. We’re travel partners, WI sports fanatics, local comedy supporters, ticket champions at Madison area arcades, and enthusiasts of the $5 Tuesday movie deal. We can’t imagine going through life with anyone else and are excited for this next step in our journey!

Sunday Night Ruminations:

1. I recently visited Buc-ee's in Alabama. I was very disappointed. My daughter Sloan described the crowd as a mass of people getting ready to experience a mass wide panic attack at the same time. It smelled like meat and sadness. There were several dancing woodchucks and copious amounts of items with cotton candy flavoring. I was and still am confused. I have no desire to go back but I love cotton candy so I am conflicted.

2. Nothing hits like 90's country music.

3. I often think about the 1998 Grammys when Bob Dylan was performing and an unidentified dancer stormed the stage shirtless with the words "SOY BOMB" written across his chest. He continued to dance and flail around for a solid 30 seconds before being pulled off the stage. So many questions and not enough answers. Why did it happen? How did it happen? Where is he now?

4. When Sloan was 3 or 4, we were driving to school and the song "Into the Great Wide Open" by Tom Petty was on the radio. She asked, "Mama, what is this song about?" I said, "I don't know, baby." And she responded with, "He's probably singing about his wife, his girlfriend, or his cat." I feel like she was correct in her analysis.

5. My husband is a... he ... puts up ... with a LOT. Greenhouse? Check. Pier/boardwalk? Check. She-shed made with vintage windows? Check. Pigmy goats and more chickens? Che...

6. I had a parakeet when I was in college at UW-Platteville. I have no idea what happened to it or where it is. I literally have a mental block. What happened to it and what was its name? Why did I have a parakeet?

7. I consider myself to be fancy, but I'm really not. Nothing brings me more pleasure than enjoying a Miller High Life by a campfire with adequate company. I love being around people. Being cooped up alone in my house all winter while working on my new business has only confirmed that I want to spend time with anyone and everyone. I miss everyone. Please reach out to me via text or message. The answer is YES.

8. I'm from the 715. A handshake is more binding then a contract.

9. The BEST part of a wedding is when the bride puts on her shoes. Random. Weird. I know.

10. I have a very real glitch in the matrix story. I will post it tomorrow night. I think of it several times a week.

We are kicking off our 2024 season with an amazing couple at this weekend!

✨ It’s • w e d d i n g w e e k • for Hayley and Rory ✨

I am so very excited to celebrate these two this week, and I can’t wait to see their big day come together! Here’s a little sneak peek into their love story 💫

They met on Bumble in July 2018, and had their first date shortly after. They say it was, “just a simple dinner where we definitely overstayed our welcome with excessive conversation”. After that, everything else fell into place easily, with Hayley moving back to the Madison area in July of 2019. Being closer in distance, they spent even more time together. They moved in together early summer of 2021, with Rory really bonding with Hayley’s cat. She likes to think they became a family at that time. They closed on their current home in November of 2022, and have cemented their bonds. They can’t wait to see where life will take them next.
