Shades of Fuchsia, Dessert Rose, Hot Pink and Blush~ Incredibly romantic 🌸🌺
I love playing with color..thinking outside of the box.

Jess knew what she wanted, which I adore but she also gave me room to be creative and flex my design skills.

It might seem like a small detail, but candles are a fabulous way to play with color along with linens and signage. This time I got to add 2 shades of pink candlesticks and wow did it add the ooh la la to the tables. 🩷

Not all of my posts are wedding or floral related. This post is personal and but is just as important.

Last weekend I traveled to Minneapolis to take the VIP tour at Paisley Park with my good friend

This was my birthday gift from her and it did not disappoint.
💜
If you know me you know I have always had a place in my heart for Prince. This tour showcased his immense musical talent on so many levels. It was more than a tour though.
💜
It was cathartic and heavenly.
💜
This was is home, office, playground, concert venue and where he wrote and recorded so many incredible songs and albums.
💜
Each studio ( there are 3!) I walked into made me emotional. Surrounded by his guitars, outfits, pianos, furniture, hand written lyrics and an insane amount of awards, helps you understand his creative nature and talent.

We were only able to take photos inside of the concert venue. What you see was taken at the end of the tour when we could submerge ourselves in his music all while watching video after video of Prince displaying his magic in so many ways.

I couldn’t help but to tear up as I didn’t want to leave. I felt him around me the whole tour but especially in the concert venue.

Oh yeah, Samarie and I played ping pong on his table too!!
💜
He might not be here on earth with us but he will never ever be forgotten.

Taylor and Ben celebrated their amazing union in December at the beautiful .

The day was magical as who doesn’t love pine trees with twinkling white lights.
Their first look was so so special. I watched it through the glass pane doors and those who were also watching were giddy with joy.
You can tell their love for one another is precious.

This wedding was my 2nd to the last of 2024. A perfect winter wedding to round out the year.

What a wonderful time of year to look back on our life and reflect on all of the wonderful accomplishments, trials, tribulations and growth we’ve achieved.

Thank you to my biggest cheerleaders that keep me upright during my busiest of months. To all past and future clients and couples who made this year so special, Thank You!

But the most important gift of all this year was becoming a Grandmother. Felix Grant came into our lives in March and has been the sweetest part of my family’s lives.

My heart is full this Christmas and I hope yours is too. Take time to slow down and enjoy the beautiful moments with family and friends. Don’t forget the new memories we are making too!

You will have to excuse my absence from social media the last couple of months.
The holiday decorating season for me filled up my calendar quickly which left me MIA.
Now that I am taking time to enjoy my own holiday season, I have time to share one of my favorite autumn weddings of 2024.
Betsy and Eric were a blast to work with and we made an amazing team.
The best part was seeing eye to eye, especially esthetically.

If I’m looking back it’s only to reflect, learn and remember how far my career and business has come. 🌸

And boy have I learned a few things but it hasn’t been perfect and it still isn’t. And I’m ok if it never is because I’m a much better human today because of it.

The reflecting I’m doing today is more of a celebration. This week marks 7 years I have been in my shop!! 🥂

That space has changed several times but one of the best decisions I made was to share my space with my friend Meredith Eaton so she could open her shop

Lately I feel like my wedding motto has become
“Toss tradition out the window”
“It’s your wedding..do what you love”

My point is, I meet with a lot of brides that are not sure what they want for their wedding. They are bombarded with trends, social media, opinions and just plain overload.

I love helping couples find their inner vision. What are you drawn to? What makes you happy? What is most important to you when it comes to your wedding? (I almost sound like a therapist) 😄

Jenna and Eric were married last year out of state and Jenna knew she wanted to keep with the same color scheme as she had before. Done!
Beautiful warm shades of Terracotta, Peach, Cream and Sage Green. Bam!
They celebrated with friends and family at and it was perfect!
