Responsibilities

Clean and tidy all areas to the standard cleanliness within time limits

Deliver excellent customer service

Follow cleaner checkoff lists and record all serviced rooms

Follow the standard unit appearance

Maintain equipment in good condition

Report on any shortages, damages or security issues

Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies

Maintain a great working relationship with managers

Looking for a full time Front Desk Associate to start immediately. Preference to Applicants with prior hotel Front Desk expereince (but not necessary). Please ensure your previous expereince is listed on your resume/work history.
Shifts: 6am to 2 pm and 2pm to 10 pm (must be avaliable to work both/either shifts. Primarily 2pm to 10 pm) Weekend and Holiday availability is required.
POSITION SUMMARY:
* Represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay.
* Manages Hotel switchboard, takes calls and reservations.
* Determiners a guest's reservation status and identifies how long the guest will stay. * Helps guests complete registration cards and then assigns rooms, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
* Verifies the guest's method of payment and follows established credit-checking procedures.
* Places guest and room information in the appropriate front desk racks and communicates this information to the appropriate hotel personnel.
* Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
* Maintains guest room key storage, and maintains and supervises access to safe deposit boxes.
* Must be sales-minded.
* Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices.
* Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property.
* Performs cashiering tasks like bill / invoice settlement, posting charges to the guest, paid out's, etc.

Our pool will re-open soon, but right now the pool is empty while routine maintenance is performed. The longest part of this process is filling and heating the water to 86 degrees before we reopen the facility.
