Janesville Renaissance Faire A Step Back in Time, A Leap Forward in Fun! The Janesville Renaissance Faire is an immersive, historically themed event full of fun for the whole family.

Celebrate at the Faire by feasting and drinking as you visit one of five stages to watch unique entertainment, or shop the Marketplace with over 45 merchants selling handmade goods. This is a charity show with all proceeds going toward scholarships and local organizations.

As August comes to a close we are excited to announce that our new Charity Line raised over $700 for Janesville Renaissance Faire

It has been a fun project putting in these new tap lines and digital menu boards utilizing the grant funds from Main Street America

So, the number that everyone has been asking us about. What was our attendance for this year?

We broke our single day record on Saturday and had up until Saturday our busiest day ever on Sunday as well.

You all have halped us shatter our expectations and are going to allow us to give back to our community in ways we had never imagined!

Tonight is one of our favorite nights, Senior Awards, where we give out our scholarships from the money raised by the show.

This year thanks to your support and attendance, we are able to give out 11 Janesville Renaissance Faire Scholarships and 3 Rick Kakouris Memorial Scholarships.

Now that the JRF crew is home and settled after striking the site, we wanted to say a huge “Thank You!” to everyone who came and visited us this weekend!

We also wanted to start our numbers posts with a great one! You all helped our local food and support network, ECHO Inc, by bringing in 1295 lbs of food and hygiene products! That’s a new record for us and a huge help for our community! Please consider supporting ECHO further by donating directly as well!

ECHO provides temporary housing, food, transportation and other emergency needs for low-income families in Rock County, Wisconsin.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Are dogs (or other pets) allowed on site?
A: Unfortunately, no. While we would love to see all of your furry, feathery, scaly, and otherwise awesome pets, our insurance for special events supersedes park regulations and we are unable to allow anything but certified service animals on site. Also, we would never get any work done, because we love animals.

Q: Can I wear my sword, dagger, other weapon-type-thing?
A: Yes, but we require period appropriate weapons to be sheathed and peace-tied for the safety of our guests. No modern weapons are allowed for our special event.

Q: Can we dress up?
A: Yes! We would love to see your outfits and enjoy the creativity of our guests!

Q: Is there an ATM on site?
A: Yes! We have an ATM company set up a mobile unit at the park for the event.
