The 8th annual PJHS Dinner Theatre Fundraiser is right around the corner.

This year’s show is called “Melissa Tunes In” and will be performed on Thursday (Nov. 14th) and Friday (Nov. 15th) in the PJHS auditorium.

Tickets are $10 each (includes dinner and the show) and can be purchased at the door or in advance at PJHS!

The doors open at 5 pm for dinner and the show starts at 6:30 pm!

All proceeds directly benefit the PJHS Chorus and Drama programs.

I don’t know if I can adequately express how proud I am of the cast of Into the Woods Jr. they have worked so hard for the past four months to put on an amazing show. They persevered through technical issues and busy schedules (some of my kids went from their normal school day to band rehearsal for their concert this week, to tech rehearsals for our show, to Rookie band camp).

They poured their hearts into this production and made me proud beyond belief. I will miss spending two days a week with this group of talented young actors.

Clean out your closets this weekend and send PJHS Chorus your old tennis shoes! We are working with a recycling company and get a small amount of money for each pair of athletic shoes!

The money raised from this endeavor will go toward helping our chorus students pay for their trip to universal in March 2024!

PJHS Drama was well-represented at STEM night last night! Some of our cast members handed out fliers to attendees and promoted our upcoming production of “The Princess and the Pea”.

Congrats to Willow Duncan (8th grade) for making GMEA All State Chorus! She passed two rounds of auditions and is the only student to represent PJHS this year. She travels to Athens Ga this weekend where she will perform in one of 6 elite choirs with hundreds of the best singers in the state of Georgia! Congratulations Willow!!!
