Held annually the last full weekend of June, this award winning festival celebrates the successful reintroduction of elk to Newton County, and celebrates, as well, the quaint, creative community of Jasper. Jasper is nestled in a magnificent setting in the beautiful Ozark Mountains, near the world famous Buffalo National River on Arkansas’ Scenic Byway 7. Come join us as this unique town transforms its downtown area into a lively festival grounds with activities for folks of all ages.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the Buffalo River Elk Festival, presented by Red Oak Station, an incredible success!
📣 Special shoutout to our amazing MC, Christy Hill! 🌟 Christy kept the energy high and the fun rolling for two full days, despite the scorching heat. Her enthusiasm made the event lively and enjoyable for everyone - from our hardworking vendors to our dedicated volunteers.
The board can't thank Christy enough for her tireless efforts! In fact, we've already "volun-told" her for next year's festival. 😉 (Christy, we hope you're reading this!)

🎉 A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Vendors! 🦌

Wow! What a fantastic 25th Annual Buffalo River Elk Festival we've had! This year's event was truly exceptional, running smoother than ever before. We received glowing feedback from both vendors and attendees. Issues were dealt with swiftly and it was just a good time all around.

To all our incredible vendors - your unique products, delicious food, and engaging booths brought the festival to life and created an unforgettable experience for our community and visitors.

This year was special:

✅ Minimal issues
✅ Positive feedback all around

Your professionalism, enthusiasm, and community spirit played a huge role in making this our most successful festival yet. We hope you found the weekend as rewarding as we did!

Arkansas Game and Fish is set up in the Visitor Center ready for you! Elk Permit Registration will be open until 4pm today and 9-4pm tomorrow! The drawing will take place at the main stage tomorrow at 5pm, YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!
