Last night my AUTUMN BEFORE AUGUST auction began over in the silent auction group. This week, as I tie up some loose ends (and prepare to take a break for much of August), I'll share pictures here of a handful of the 60 items in the auction. Here's a sweet little pewter baby cup. Marked International Pewter, this cup measures 3.5" wide (including handle) x 2" tall. This is a 6.25" bread plate made by Lenox in the "Golden Wreath" pattern (1938-1980). There are 2-3 very minor scratches on the gilded wreath, but overall this little plate is in very good pre-owned condition.

This is a celery vase. 𝘼 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙖𝙖𝙖𝙩? 😳

Back in the day, there was a dish designed for everything on the table. Every.single.thing. This was for serving celery—but with its scalloped edge and banded stem, I think it makes a gorgeous vase for modern times. 𝘖𝘧 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦 𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘺!

Measurements:
Height - approx. 9"
Width across top - 4.25"
Width at base - 3.75"

No chips or cracks; some scratches when held to the light.

It is very possible this piece is Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG) produced from 1850 to 1910, but I haven't researched it, so I'm pricing at what I believe to be a reasonable decorative value for a vase.

Nikko (Japan) octagonal dish with the prettiest navy blue (not black) design. This one packs in a lot of details, so be sure not to miss them! Excellent pre-owned condition.

Measuring 5.75" in diameter, this versatile little bowl can be used in the kitchen, office, bathroom—or anywhere you want a pretty little dish.

Gorgeous creamy porcelain vase handpainted on one side with the prettiest pink rose. (Has that amazing feel much like Lenox china when held in the hand.) I've called this a bud vase, but the opening is actually larger than most bud vases, so it will easily hold multiple stems.

Marked Bavaria Germany (plus something else handwritten in German that I can't read). Measures 7 5/8" tall x 3 1/4" wide. Excellent condition.

I haven't been able to ID/date this piece, so (based on its quality alone) I'm pricing it at what I believe is a very reasonable decorative value.

Fabulous double light candlestick made by Federal Glass in the "Wigwam Clear" pattern (1938-1945). Measures 5" wide x 4.5" tall. Excellent pre-owned condition.

If you like the geometric lines of Art Deco, you probably love this. Just add two taper-style candles in your favorite color, and you're good to go!

This evening's treasure is a beautiful antique German trinket dish featuring the classic courting couples design. It measures 5.5" wide x 4" deep. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘢𝘱 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘩!

I believe this to be late 1800s/early 1900s. Colors are vibrant, and there's no crazing, chips, or cracks; only wear to the gilding as expected with use and enjoyment—and well over 100 years of existence!
