Now that repairs have been completed on the access road to our venue, we wanted to provide a honest update on the state of our venue’s road directly following Hurricane Helene. As many of you know, the major road leading to our property was washed out by the storm’s heavy rains and flooding. This created significant access challenges for a time.

We share this not to elicit sympathy, but rather to acknowledge the very real challenges that many venues in our area have faced after Helene.

We are thankful that we’re now back to normal operations. We have greatly appreciated the patience and understanding of our community of wedding professionals & couples alike during this time! We can’t wait to create some more special memories with couples as we finish out the 2024 wedding season❤️

Hello again, to all of our followers!

✨Here’s why we haven’t posted in a little while✨
As you may know, our beloved venue was in the path of the destructive Hurricane Helene that devastated our community & region. Our hearts are with everyone affected by the storm. We’ve been taking the time to evaluate any & all damage to our venue, the homes of our staff, & the county roads that lead to our venue.

We are so so thankful to say our beautiful mountain is safe & sound, aside from damage to a county road that grants access to our estate. We are grateful to report that we made it safely through Hurricane Helene & will soon be ready to continue creating magical wedding moments for our couples. We will be back to our regular content & will be be updating everyone on the status of our road as we learn of it! We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to our venue so soon✨

A great wedding intertwines a mix of special touches personal to the couple as well as some immersive guest experiences! Sarah Grace & Stephen included several sweet and intimate personalizations by having their dog on Stephen’s cuff links & months spent collecting special silver to use during their reception as well as fun activities for guests such as welcome drinks on the lawn before the ceremony along with corn hole boards!

The tradition of the First Dance symbolizes the first steps together as a married couple, showing the love and unity between the two🤍
Many of our couples choose to make a grand entrance, from being introduced for the first time as a married couple heading straight into their first dance while others choose to wait until after the served meal and set the done for the dance floor. Either way, we just love watching first dances!!

The charming Old English Manor boasts more than 11,000 square feet of exquisitely finished living space designed for entertaining. Just a step away is a spacious guest cottage. Together, the estate can accommodate over 40 guests comfortable and offers the following amenities: a commercial kitchen; two additional kitchens; a spa with hot tub, steam room, sauna, and indoor endless pool; fitness facility; library with billiards; movie theatre and more. The guesthouse has a game room with Ping-Pong, foosball and air hockey.
