Update!
So we saw your comments and went to talk to the Mufasa people about getting it for this Friday. They said no. That’s the bad news.
Here’s the good news… Sonic said yes for this Friday and we will play it from Jan 3-9. Better news Mufasa did say we could play it from Jan 10-23rd! So we will be getting both, Hooray!!

IMPORTANT QUESTION… if you had to choose would you rather see Mufasa or Sonic first? Keep in mind this information will be taken under consideration, so if you’re not actually going to come to either, don’t vote. We want a clear picture of who’s interested.

On Tuesday we had a fantastic turn out for Christmas Tales, our 140th anniversary event. Lots of readers and members of the community enjoyed holiday stories while hearing about the theatre’s history. We are so grateful for everyone who helped and participated, as well as everyone who attended.

The Sierra Community Theatre in Jefferson is going to party like it’s the 1880s with a special event. Manager Sarah Nicholoson says on Tuesday is the “Christmas Tales,” a celebration of the 140th anniversary of the theater.

What’s coming up…
1. Moana 2 will play through the 12th at least.
2. There is a free showing of Moana 2 provided by Chirp on Dec 7th at 2pm, doors will open at 1pm. First come first serve seating and admittance. Details are on our previous post or on Chirps page.
3. Gift cards are now 10% off when purchased in $5 increments through the 22nd of December
4. We are having a 140th Anniversay event on December 17th at 7pm. Doors will open at 6:30 that night. More details in previous post.
5. Yes we intend to get Wicked next. No we do not have a date yet. When we do it will be posted here.
6. Yes we intend to play Mufasa but Wicked will likely be first so it could take some time.
…..long story short there’s lots to look forward to at your local community movie theatre so come see us!!! 😁
