The cornerstone was laid on July 3, 1833. After a fire destroyed the original building, the new building was dedicated on September 8, 1895. It was purchased by the Thoroughbred Chorus in 1981. The building was known as Thoroughbred Hall until recently when the Thoroughbreds renamed the building after Director Emeritus Jim Miller who led the Thoroughbreds to 6 of their 7 International Championship
wins. Jim Miller Hall, home of the Thoroughbreds, is conveniently located at 10609 Watterson Trail, in the heart of Jeffersontown. It is the perfect location for your wedding and reception. This historic church building can comfortably accommodate your guests. The large stained glass windows and huge trees make beautiful backgrounds for your pictures. There is a recently remodeled kitchen for food preparation by the caterer of your choice. It's okay to serve alcohol however, you can not sell it! Smoking is not allowed in the building. Tables and chairs are provided for parties of up to 200 guests. The hall rents for $750 per day and a dance floor is included. NEWS UPDATE
