Last year, while booking out our calendar, I intentionally didn’t take any weddings from May through July for this year, as I was pregnant and due in April! Since this was our first child, I had no idea how things would go or how much recovery time I would need.
Well, baby arrived a few days early and both her and I are doing great! Now I’m itching to get back to work (and let’s be honest, I need to pay off these hospital bills haha. Not great maternity leave when you're self employed.)

So, to this end, and in the interest of filling up dates quickly, we’re offering our services at a heavily discounted rate. (This is basically beginner pricing.) If you, a family member or friend want great wedding video, this might be the sale for you!

Little life updates over here at Love Stories!

As some of you already know, we enjoyed filming the second half of wedding season last year while I was pregnant! Navigating the first trimester fatigue (counteracted by wedding day adrenaline for filming, followed by such a crash after haha) and mental and physical load of the second and third trimester through the winter was wild, but now we have our sweet baby to show for it!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years and has allowed me to build Love Stories into a little blessing for our little family. I am so grateful to have work that will allow me to stay home and care for our little one. Editing in between caring for an infant will be a new adventure, and I'm very excited for it. Here's to the next chapter!

What? I'm supposed to actually POST the weddings we capture?
I usually just default to sharing them directly with our couples. Interesting...

In all seriousness, anyone who has followed us for a while knows that the social media side of this job has never been my strong suit (and let's be honest, probably never will be).
Once I get these moments into the hands of my couples, I feel like my job is done. They made these memories and have a way to remember them! I did it!
But we do live in a digital age, and I suppose I should share this beauty here as well. The excitement of everyone at this last wedding reminded me there is value to sharing online for all of you lovely people as well!

Happy New Year!!

We are wishing all of you so many special moments with the people you love this coming 2024!
Over here at Love Stories we've made the pilgrimage down to sunny Florida to visit my (Heather's) family. It's been wonderful to spend time with parents and siblings that are usually 12+ hours away.
My whole editing computer is here with me, so I'll be continuing to work while combatting my seasonal depression in the best way possible getting some sunshine and exercise spending the coming month down here. I hope this will become a yearly tradition for us!

And now all the way back to July!
I've had fewer weddings to share from 2023 because I did a lot of associate and second shooting for other videographers this year. All the joy of capturing amazing memories, but none of the editing haha. It was amazing to take a little bit of a break after the craziness of the past couple of years. ❤
But having this lighter season to reset made our Love Stories weddings this year even more special! I'm loving having the time to make every moment absolutely perfect as I edit through them all. 🥰✨
