🌙✨ Winter Solstice Workshop 🌙✨

Join us for a transformative workshop celebrating the winter solstice, a significant moment in our annual cycle when we experience the longest hours of darkness, marking the return of light and the gradual lengthening of days.

Participants will engage in guided meditation, thoughtful writing exercises, and creative art-making to explore their individual journeys. We'll create a nurturing space to examine what we wish to release from our pasts and set intentions for the coming year, focusing on our needs and desires as we embrace the light ahead.

The workshop will culminate in a serene walk to the Winifred Lutz Solstice Tower, where we'll gather to witness the first light of the season streaming through the tower at noon, symbolizing hope and new beginnings. Join us in celebrating this powerful seasonal transition and embrace the magic of the winter solstice!

✨ Community Labyrinth Installation Begins! ✨

Abington Art Center is partnering with Golden-Thread Labyrinths to create a permanent community labyrinth on our grounds. The stones were gathered right here at AAC (thank you to all of our volunteers!) and now it’s time to build!

🌿 Be part of building something beautiful and lasting for our community! No experience needed. Families and individuals of all ages are welcome.

📅 Saturday, December 6 + 13
⏰ 9 AM – 1 PM
📍 Please meet at the Sculpture Park entrance located at 515 Meetinghouse Road

🌀 What is a labyrinth? A labyrinth is not a maze ... it’s a single, winding path to the center and back again, used for meditation, reflection, and community connection.
